LDES 1.0 launched at the LDES workshop during SEMIC 2025 on 25 November in Copenhagen. The session brought together specification work, working implementations, and plans for adoption across public administrations and cultural heritage.

Pieter Colpaert presented the updated specification after a year of development. The workshop also featured catalog harvesting, a cultural heritage server, water data, a .NET implementation, and RDF-Connect pipelines. Together, these contributions showed how a common publication interface can support different domains and software stacks.

Piotr Sowiński’s workshop keynote connected his work on Jelly with the emerging RDF Messages collaboration, opening a discussion about shared foundations for exchanging RDF streams.

For publishers and consumers, the next step is practical: read the LDES specification, explore the implementation reports, and try an example feed.
